Long ago I was a nail biter. At the time I thought I was going to have icky nails the rest of my life. For a while I used glue on nails but those little suckers were always coming off at the wrong time. Acrylic nails aren’t for me either, it hurts when I’ve had them done before. Somewhere down the line I decided to just stop biting them and let them grow, and guess what, they did!
This isn’t to say my nails have been in perfect shape since then. I use my hands all day long for my duties as a blogger, mom, wife, DIY person, crafter, cook, etc. This means they take some abuse. When I was sent a sample of GoNails I was excited to see if I would really notice a difference. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now. Usually I apply it 2x per day, but some days I know I forgot and did it only once. Regardless, I really do notice a difference in my nails and cuticles – really!

So what did I actually notice? Did they grow any faster – no, not really. My nails grow in spurts to start so I didn’t find the length they grew the last couple of weeks anything really out of the ordinary. What I definitely did notice though is that my nails feel thicker and stronger! This means less breakage so overall your nails would of course look longer. My cuticles are also looking better I think. You rub GoNails into your nail and cuticle area so all of it gets the benefits. I have to say I was skeptical that this would work, but it really has and I plan on continuing to use GoNails.

Some key ingredient notes – first of all it is alcohol and formaldehyde free! Happy dance! Now it has all sorts of good things like tea tree oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and some other things that do the conditioning and strengthening – I’m not a scientist so I’m not going to pretend to know exactly what all of it is or does. Using GoNails is very simple. I just use a very small amount – about the size of a pea in total for all 10 of my fingernails. Really, it takes just a very small amount. I put it on each of my nails at the base and then go back and massage it in. It takes less than a minute or so. EZ-PZ!
