Crocs ABF FlipsUp until last week I was a Crocs virgin. That’s right; I had never even tried on a pair of Crocs. Not only that, but I didn’t realize they made a lot of different styles of shoes for women, men, and kids – not just the original Crocs that most of us have seen. This was about to change.

Crocs offered to send me a pair from their newest look book to try out. I picked out the ABF Flip-Flops because I wear a thin pair of flip-flops most of the time and I’ve noticed lately that when I’ve walked a lot in a day that my back has been hurting and I’m pretty sure it’s from those thin ones that have no support. Just looking at the picture these looked like they would offer much more comfort than what I was used to. When they arrived they looked just as unique in person as they had in the pictures on the website. I Crocs ABF Flipsslipped them on while sitting down – hmmm a nice cradling type of feel. Then I stood up and took a couple of steps – whoa – these suckers are comfortable! They are cushiony, but not to squishy like some of those cheap foam flip-flops are at all. All the little hills and valleys on the shoe just fit my foot right and it was like having a real shoe on, but the look of a flip-flop. Very impressive! I was worried that my feet would get sweaty because of the material the Crocs are made of, but sweat has not really been an issue. They are also made with an odor-resistant material. That isn’t really an issue with flip-flops, but it’s good to know. Now I do have to say that the top part by my toes – just looks alone is a little like duck feet (just a little) – but I’m getting used to it the more I see it. The only other slight issue is that on our wood floors these are pretty squeaky sounding when I walk. On carpeting and outside it isn’t an issue though. I had Hubby slip these on his feet even and he agreed that they are comfy and hinted he would like a men’s pair to me. I now see what the attraction is to Crocs, it is comfort first I think!
