Ask Hubby and Taylor and they will tell you I LOVE pens and writing instruments. I am very picky about them though. Pentel is a brand I always like and then Pentel Arts line is one of my favorites actually. They sent me some of their metallic pens recently – and yes I was enraptured by them! Oh, and not pictured they also sent one of their Tape’n Glue dispensers which works beautifully and has a sliding cover which gets a huge thumbs up because I always lose those little caps!

Pentel metallics

The bigger ones are the Sunburst Metallic Gel Pens. The red is my favorite (shock) – it is really metallic on paper. My pictures I tried taking don’t show it – but trust me they really are. These are great for doing holiday cards and crafts. The thinner pens are Slicci Metallic Needle Tip Gel Rollers – the needle tip makes it sound like it would be super fine, but it’s not quite that thin really. Thinner than the others though. This is great for smaller details though and again, a great truly metallic cast to them.

I think these are fantastic stocking stuffers too – think anyone who likes paper, office supplies, paper crafting, scrapbooking, doodling, etc. Teens would appreciate this and maybe a journal of black paper since these really pop on dark colors too.

pentel holiday projects

On the Pentel Arts website you can find instructions for all of these crafts shown for holidays, but also for lots of other seasons too. You can find Pentel products at lots of retailers, plus you can shop online at the Pentel Store now too. I love that since not all stores carry everything – online I know I can find it. Right now they have free shipping on orders over $25 – ends December 31, 2010.

Disclosure: I received the Pentel products mentioned to sample for this post. The opinions are entirely my own though and if you come to my home you will find lots of other Pentel products that I buy on my own all the time. Transparency is everything.
