Many of you have been enjoying the different cocktail recipes I have been posting so I’m going to keep it up for you. The set of Halloween recipes were on the fancy side and needed you to make several elements. While I will still have those types, I’m also going to try to include some easier recipes as well.
This week I’m sharing Aunt Judy’s Bourbon Slush recipe. It is great to make ahead for a party and is really tasty. I love when she makes these! This would be great to make ahead for Thanksgiving to end the day with. Enjoy!
- 1 large 12oz can frozen lemonade
- 1 small 6oz can frozen orange juice
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups brewed tea
- 2 cups bourbon
- 1 2 liter bottle of 7-Up
- Grenadine or cherry juice
Mix all ingredients well except soda and grenadine. Freeze for 48 hours. Scoop out (use an ice cream scoop or heavy spoon) some of the bourbon slush and place in a glass and top with as much 7-up as you like. Add a splash of grenadine or cherry juice. Serve and enjoy!
PS That Bourbon water tower is from a town called Bourbon, Missouri.
