Loaded Baked Potato Dip from RobynsOnlineWorld.com

This is definitely a splurge recipe, but it is delicious! I made this to take to my mom and dad’s house on Christmas and everyone loved it. There is no potato in the dip, it’s just all the yummy stuff you put on a baked potato. We served this with Ruffles potato chips. You really need a nice hearty chip like this for this dip which is fairly thick. I promise if you make this every little bit of it will be eaten!

Loaded Baked Potato Dip

  • Daisy Sour Cream, 16 ounce
you can use whatever brand you like, but Daisy is the only brand I buy because we think it is the best!
  • Hormel Real Bacon Pieces, 2.8 ounce jar
important that you use the soft bacon pieces, not those really hard fake ones – or you could fry and chop up real bacon if you want.
  • 2 cups freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese
you can buy pre-shredded, but it is not as moist
  • 5-10 dashes of Cholula Hot Sauce
you can use any brand you like, but Cholula is my favorite brand
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced chives
use kitchen scissors to snip them quickly

In a bowl combine the sour cream, bacon, cheese, hot sauce, and chives. Mix well. Refrigerate at least an hour before serving. You can save a little of the cheese and chives to sprinkle on top before serving also. Serve with Ruffles potato chips.

Like I said, this is a splurge item and not something you would want to eat all the time as it is high in fat, but really oh so good! Enjoy!

Disclosure: None, even though I mentioned specific brands, these are brands that I buy and use in my home all the time and what I prefer to use for this recipe.
