Happy Friday! Are you staying warm during the polar vortex? It has been super cold here in St. Louis this winter. I thought since so much of the country is experiencing this chill that today’s cocktails should be something to warm you up. So I have four great drink recipes for you to try that should keep you warm until the spring thaw! Thanks to Deussen for the recipes and photos!

Four Winter Cocktail Recipes to Keep You Warm

Vortex Coffee RecipeVortex Coffee

  • 2 oz. Sobieski Vanilia Vodka
  • 1 oz. Irish cream
  • 2 oz. hot coffee
  • Whipped cream

Add all ingredients in a mug and top with whipped cream!

I know there are a lot of you out there who are always asking for more hot coffee drinks so let me know what you think of this one for sure!

Hot CAMUS-LateHot CAMUS-Late

  • 1 ½ oz. CAMUS VS Elegance Cognac
  • 3 oz. hot chocolate
  • 2 oz. milk
  • ½ oz. heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. maple syrup

Mix all ingredients together in mug!

This is one of those drinks that you do not want to skimp on the ingredients. Use your best hot chocolate and real maple syrup too. Definitely a hot chocolate for the grown ups!

Hot Tea-Toddy RecipeHot Tea-Toddy

  • 1 oz. CAMUS VS Elegance Cognac
  • 4 oz. hot tea
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • Lemon slice for garnish

Add all ingredients into a mug and stir.  Add a lemon slice and serve.

Hubby always likes a hot toddy when he has a winter cold. This one sounds fabulous with the cognac in it! I will have to test it out for him to make sure though <grin>

  • 1½ oz. Sobieski Espresso Vodka
  • 2 oz. creamer
  • 1 ½ oz. Marie Brizard Chocolat Royal

Serve over ice (or for a fun twist, use snow) and serve in a tall glass.

So this may not be a hot drink, but I promise the ingredients will still help keep you warm. I love the idea of serving it over snow too!

So which of these drinks sound the best to you? Any changes you would make?
