infographics logoWhile it is still winter, we are headed towards spring and it is time to start thinking about what you want to grow in your own garden. This week’s infographic will hopefully inspire you! I know many folks say they do not have the space for a garden, but you really can grow in small spaces. My yard is quite small, but we have a small square foot gardening area and it can yield quite a bit actually. This year I think we are going to add some container gardening also because we are hoping to move and we will be able to take that with us.

One of the easiest things to grow is a lettuce mix. We were shocked at how fast the lettuces grow and it is a lot cheaper than buying the spring mix lettuces at the store. Basil also grows easily and adds such an amazing flavor when you add it fresh to your dishes. Hubby is really the “farmer” in our family, but I do try and help and I will harvest from our garden when I am cooking dinner. We also have grown tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, green beans, cilantro, chives, jalapenos, corn, and green peppers. All of that in our tiny little garden!

Will you have a garden, of any size, this year?
