imagine cup logoTuesday morning I am headed to Seattle to attend Microsoft’s 2014 Imagine Cup finals. If you are unfamiliar the Microsoft Imagine Cup is the world’s premier student technology competition. It is open to students 16+ years in high school or college and that includes homeschoolers (I love that). The competition encourages the teams to come up with innovative technology solutions for areas of World Citizenship, Innovation, and Games.

On Friday, August 1 at 8:30am PT you will be able to watch the Imagine Cup World Championships live webcast. This is really a great way to get your own kids interested in technology in a different way and to inspire them when they see what amazing ideas these young people come up with.

Before then you can take a look at the Imagine Cup finalist teams from around the planet in all three of the categories. I am hoping to be able to spend some time with the teams and do some interviews with the. Do you have a question you would like for me to ask to any of the teams?
