Have you been enjoying Shark Week? Sharks really are fascinating creatures. To finish off Shark Week I thought I would share some cocktails perfect for the occasion. While all of the cocktail recipes today have alcohol, you could easily make some non-alcoholic drinks using fruit juices and sodas and use the garnishes, like the wedge shaped lemon peel and grapefruit wedge, to still add a Shark Week theme!
This cocktail may cause a feeding frenzy!
1 ½ oz. CAMUS VSOP Cognac
1 oz. cranberry juice
½ oz. tonic water
Mint for garnish
Add all liquid ingredients into a rocks glass with ice. Stir and garnish with mint and serve.
This ones a real nail biter!
2 ½ oz. Sobieski Cytron Vodka
2 oz. blue curacao
1 oz. orange juice
Orange wedge for garnish
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a fishbowl. Garnish with an orange wedge.
You will see this cocktail coming from afar!
1 oz. William Wolf Pecan Bourbon
2 oz. Lemonade
Mix over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge shaped like a sharks fin.
This espresso martini packs a bite!
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
1 oz. coffee liqueur
1 oz. crème liqueur
In a rocks glass, combine Lucid Absinthe, coffee liqueur and crème liqueur.
This cocktail will have all the guests swarming about!
1 oz. Ungava Gin
1 oz. bitter aperitif
1 oz. vermouth
½ oz. soda water
grapefruit for garnish
Add Ungava Gin, bitter aperitif and vermouth into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with soda water and garnish with grapefruit wedge and serve.
