delfino cocktail

Today I am in Boston for the opening of the Verizon Destination Store. I’m staying at the Fairmont Copley Plaza and within it is the Oak Long Bar Kitchen. Yesterday afternoon I stopped in with Jean Parks aka @geekbabe for a cocktail. The Delfino jumped off the menu at me. Tequila, blood orange, and sage! It is soooo good!

However, I don’t have an exact recipe for you. I’m going to guestimate based on how it tasted and watching the bartender make a few (or more) for me. This is a sweet drink for those that like that in cocktails. Bright and not harsh at all.

A special shout at to the Oak Long Bar Kitchen manger, Geoff. He was very helpful and friendly. I always appreciate service like this so much.

And a little bonus – Saturday I had lunch at Oak Long Bar Kitchen. Along with The Delfino I had the Oak Burger – delicious!
