Thanksgiving Leftover Recipes | Robyns.World

One of the best things about Thanksgiving, to me, is the leftovers. I love them just as they are but also I love creating other meals with them. Today I’m sharing a collection of leftover Thanksgiving food recipes for everyone. Remember to plan for these when you go to the grocery store this week so you have all the extra items you need on hand after Thursday.

Turkey Rolls – Sushi Inspired
I love this idea of little rolls with the leftovers from Thanksgiving from Arts & Crackers. She uses leftover turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy and then adds a few extra ingredients, like horseradish and ginger, to take the flavors in a different direction! Photo source: Arts & Crackers

Baked Turkey Wasabi Mashed Potato Croquettes
Ohhh, these sound so delicous! I think this is a recipe I will try this year with my leftovers for sure. It uses my favorite, mashed potatoes, and some of your leftover turkey meat plus adds wasabi and I love spicy food! Carrie’s Experiemental Kitchen shares this recipe which is sure to become a family favorite. Photo source: Carrie’s Experimental Kitchen

Southwest Turkey Wrap
My friend Chrysa of Thrifty Jinxy has a great recipe for a Southwest Turkey Wrap. Remember to cut some of your leftover turkey from Thanksgiving into very thin slices for great sandwich ideas like this. She adds a great sauce with lime juice, cumin, and ground chipotle which really will spice up your leftovers! Photo source: Thrifty Jinxy

Turkey Turnovers
This recipe from Ann’s Entitled Life turns some of your leftover turkey into a hand-help (or fork and knife) turnover. I love this idea of adding bacon, cheese, and some other delicious ingredients and stuffing it into pie crusts with our leftover turkey. Photo source: Ann’s Entitled Life

Turkey Brie and Cranberry Panini
YES YES YES! This is along the lines of my favorite leftover Thanksgiving sandwich! Deb CB has a great recipe for a Turkey, Brie and Cranberry Panini!Β  I just bought Brie at the store today so I would have it on hand for my own leftovers. I actually add gravy to my version, and sometimes some veggies or stuffing too. You must try this! Photo source: Deb CB

Green Chile Turkey Enchiladas
I so love Mexican food and you can really use just about any protein, including turkey, inside of them. These Green Child Turkey Enchiladas are fantastic and I’ve made them several times.

Turkey and Stuffing Waffles
I’ve seen several variations on this on TV lately. Making waffles with the stuffing leftovers. This recipe from Gator Mommy Reviews for Turkey Stuffing and Waffles is easy and sounds amazing! You add some water, butter and gravy to the stuffing and then cook it again in a waffle maker and then top with more turkey and gravy! Photo source: Gator Mommy Reviews

Creamy Turkey Soup
There is nothing better than homemade soup. If you are cooking a turkey on Thanksgiving take advantage of having the turkey carcass on hand to make your own homemade soup. This recipe does not make the broth from scratch, but it’s easy to make if you put the turkey bones in a pot of water with aromatics to make your own stock. Even if you don’t want to go that far, this recipe from Ann’s Entitled Life will still make wonderful soup from your leftover turkey meat! Photo Source: Ann’s Entitled Life

Cranberry Pecan Turkey Salad
Normally I’m not a big fan of “meat” salads, but this Cranberry Pecan Turkey Salad from Carrie’s Experimental Kitchen actually sounds good to me. I love that it has pecans and cranberries inside of it! Photo source: Carrie’s Experimental Kitchen
