BBQ Chicken Nachos - Recipe - Robyns.World

There are lots of big football viewing parties happening this time of year and nachos are a snack everyone loves. How about changing things up though and trying these barbecue chicken nachos instead? I’m going to give you the base recipe for the bbq chicken nachos, but you can of course customize them any way you like. Don’t be afraid to try new and different combinations of toppings either, barbecue and Mexican really work well together.

Barbecue Chicken Nachos


  • 1 rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 bag nacho chips
  • 1 cup shredded Jarlsberg cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/4 cup sour cream


Heat oven to 350 F.

Pull white meat off rotisserie chicken and place in mixing bowl. Add barbecue sauce to pulled chicken and gently mix together.

Scatter nacho chips on oven-safe dish and place pulled chicken on top. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of chips and barbecue chicken. Place in oven for approximately 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle green onion on top and serve with sour cream,

Add any other toppings you like as well. You can serve it on top or serve those additional toppings on the side for guests to add what they like to their own nachos.
