Today in Save Your Photos Day. In this day and age such a reminder day is really important since most of us rely on digital photography only and we do not automatically get prints of all of our photographs. For this week’s infographic I found a great one that shares why you should always print out your photographs, at least your favorite ones. I’ve also include some deals for when you are ready to print your photos (disclosure: many of those deals are affiliate links of mine).

The plus side with digital photography is that we no longer have to pay for film developing or end up paying for prints of photos that are awful. The downside to digital photography is that we forget to back them up and print out our favorites.

The first thing everyone needs to do is learn to keep their digital photos backed up. I love the cloud for this and use OneDrive as my primary cloud storage service. Be sure to take a look at my tutorial for backing up your smartphone photos automatically to the cloud.

The second thing everyone needs to do is start printing out their favorite photographs. There are countless ways to do this from direct from your device, printing at home, or using printing services. Once you have your photos printed out make sure to display them, share them, and store them in albums as you rotate printed display photos.
