Halloween Game: Eyeball Pong

Halloween Game: Eyeball Pong

My mom holds a fabulous Halloween party each year. Lots of fun and games. This year she added a new game, eyeball pong which was a big hit! Think along the lines of beer pong, but we didn’t make this a drinking game since it was for all ages and we modified the game play a bit. Mom found the eyeball ping pong balls at the local dollar store. If you can’t find them you could use regular ping pong balls and paint eyeballs on them yourself even. Paint markers would probably do the trick. You also need 20 cups, … Continue Reading →

Streaming Music Options

Music can impact our moods so much. It can make us happy, keep us company, set a romantic mood, and even increase productivity while we work or study. I remember getting my first stereo when was about 10 years old I think – I loved it! My first stereo had a record player, a cassette deck, and an analog turn dial for the radio stations. I remember listening to albums in my room and pouring over the liner notes for hours. With cassettes I was able to get more portable and then as I grew older we had newer stereos … Continue Reading →

Easy Gift Wrap Idea

Easy Gift Wrap Idea

Today we celebrated my nephew, Colby, turning two! Time sure goes fast. We had a party at the park with all of the family and it was a wonderful time. My mom once again was so clever in her gift wrapping. I cannot believe how many ideas she comes up with. This one is really easy and even if you think you are not a good wrapper, you can do this one. She simply wrapped the gift in a solid color gift wrap, red in this case. Since it was a large package she bought a simple Happy Birthday banner … Continue Reading →

Pinterest Weekly Picks – Super Bowl Edition

I have found some fun resources on Pinterest for any of you planning on having a small or large get together for the big game. I love this idea for a little game to play during the party. Great for the kids too or if you have an adult party where there will be drinking it might be fun to do a before the game and after the game … Continue Reading →
Loaded Baked Potato Dip

Loaded Baked Potato Dip

This is definitely a splurge recipe, but it is delicious! I made this to take to my mom and dad’s house on Christmas and everyone loved it. There is no potato in the dip, it’s just all the yummy stuff you put on a baked potato. We served this with Ruffles potato chips. You really need a nice hearty chip like this for this dip which is fairly thick. I promise if you make this every little bit of it will be eaten! Loaded Baked Potato Dip Daisy Sour Cream, 16 ounce you can use whatever brand you like, but … Continue Reading →
